Richard001
Hello All, and a happy new year,I have noticed that over time my white Scalextric cars turn Berge. Perhaps it's the aging of the clear coat. Is there anything that can be done to restore the white areas while preserving the "decals"?
Andy P.
Hi Richard,I am no expert but all I have seen basically says soaking in hydrogen peroxide in strong sunlight over several hours (days) will help get the white back BUT there is a strong chance the decals will not survive.... Thank you for the advice. The part about the decals being lost is scary. So I will live with the off-white. sweat_smile
Andy P.
Depending on the livery there is a chance you can get the decals and just redo the car...
