Philip-1236570
Am I correct in thinking that the new F1 cars are not compatible with Digital Scalextric? I must be wrong, there is no way Hornby would make such a poor decision, is there?
Andy P.
I thought I read many of them are DPR (Digital Plug ready) ...?You could of course squeeze a C7005 retro chip into them if they aren`t...
Chadow
I see what you mean. Many of the descriptions do say 'DPR - No' then go on to say that either the C7005 (wired) or C8515 (plug) are required. So, a bit confusing! However, fitting the C7005 inside a Scalextric car is (relatively) easy - even the Lotus 25 and front-motored Vanwalls and Maseratis. Andy P.
The LED is on a lead so you can put the chip far back from the the guide... There are lots of online videos about doing this...
