TaffsTT
I have a Pullman "Lucille" coach from a Hornby OO gauge DC set. However, a bogie has snapped off at the point where it clips into the coach (images attached). Does anyone know if Hornby do spares or some other site I can get a spare from please? RDS
The usual recommendation is 'Peters Spares', or maybe a Fair that sells second hand model railway items.
TaffsTT
Thanks - fairs seem to be the older type with like a metal rivet as opposed to a plastic clip. Guess those have survived longer. Will keep looking thanks.
Going Spare
This bogie was also used on the non-powered driving car of the Tri-ang class 101 DMU, which may give you a another possible source. The Tri-ang/Hornby part numbers for the bogie were X863 for UK production and X8023 from China. None of the main parts suppliers seem to have either so you will have to look on the secondhand market - for example, there is a complete Pullman car on ebay for £3 at the moment. The son of Triangman
Another alternative is to fit an S.5100 eyelet as per the earlier ones and use the existing bogie.
dBerriff
Could you not superglue a bolt, or eyelet as suggested above, in place to fit the hole? Gravity would hold the body on the bogie.
