HM 7000 directional and cab lighting

Can directional and cab lighting be controlled by the HM dcc 7000 decoders thanks

Yes F0 is always directional lighting but aux lighting F-key allocation depends upon if it is a sound or non-sound decoder - see the doŵnloadable manual.

Read page 33 & 34 to 40 of the HM7000 decoder manual.

Page 33 says that the 6 pin decoder only supports directional lighting. Which is totally logical as there are only six wires and four of them are needed for track input and motor control. No different to traditional non Bluetooth 6 pin decoders where two diodes are required externally to the decoder to create the positive common return.

Whereas page 34 to 40 details the functions available on the other decoder types. All of which are listed as supporting 'Directional Lighting' plus a minimum of at least one AUX function that could be used for a Cab light.
