What Sound Profiles Have You Used?

I thought it would be interesting to start a thread to find out what sound profiles forum members have been using thus far.

Given the relatively small number of profiles currently available, we’ve all been having to make a choice on what best to use for locos that don’t yet feature in the line-up.

To get the ball rolling, here’s my own line-up:

Class 47 - I’ve used a Class 50

Class 37 - I’ve used a Class 56

Western - I’ve used a Class 31

Class 45 - I’ve used Class 56

2-6-0 Prairie - I’ve used a Black 5

oh and on my Class 08, I’ve used ……. A Class 08 !

These choices seem to work well enough, but maybe other folk have alternative views on what’s best.

What about the rest of you?

I’m using class 66 sound in class 67’s. But as far as I’m aware, they’re pretty similar. Wasn’t at all sure what to use in the 47 so I downloaded the 31 sounds. Nobody at my club has told me it’s wrong yet and they’re pretty fussy! And 2 class 73’s, obviously with class 73 sound.

Mods, can I suggest adding to the title “Have You Used”. There’s heaps of titles on profiles and these words would distinguish this one from others.
