JohnH
I’ve searched the forum without success so thought I would start a new one. I bought the Hornby Dublo Flying Scotsman as 60103 and fitted a new HM7000 8TX sound decoder. It works great but the direction of travel is opposite to what I get with my usual RailMaster / Elite setup. I checked that I put the chip in the right way so that’s not the problem. Is there a setting that I can change on the HM7000 to change the direction of travel?John
Rallymatt
Really simple, on the app go to advanced cv settings, scroll down list to cv 29tap on the ‘1’ to change , tap exit, you have now reset the direction of travel. Hit the refresh arrow to ensure they are updated on the decoder and app

96RAF
There have been reports before about changes made in DCC mode not sticking.
Rallymatt
Ignore bit ‘2’ set it back how it was. The direction is controlled by bit ‘1’ repeat the process and update. The listed numbers in the CV represent ‘bits’ these are activated (lit) or deactivated (unlit) effectively turning the switch on or off. The numbers of the bit are arranged in such a way that the the total can only mean a particular series of on/off events for each ‘bit’ the app does all these calculations for you, all you need to do is highlight or turn off the particular ‘bits’ Do it again and shut down the loco for at least 60 seconds and shut down the App and restart having done the refresh 😁
JohnH
Sorry. I’ve done exactly as you said and the direction still hasn’t changed. The 1 & 2 are highlighted under cv 29 in the Adv CV Editor giving a value of 3. Any other suggestions?John
96RAF
Go and have a look at the post Bluetooth (CV29) which is exactly the same problem.
Rallymatt
Clearly something else going on, or rather not going on, so best to wait now and see what the boffins come back with. It should be a pretty easy operation normally.
JohnH
Just to say that I double checked again that I had put the chip in correctly. It was put in correctly and there is still the issue. I await the boffins as you say.
