Gerard-360293
I’ve seen BritinVanCA discuss shipping to Canada. my question to them… how can you run the TT120 on 110v outlet. Is there an adapter that you can use to convert the British plug and use in Canada?
96RAF
The power supplies are available in several versions - UK, EU, Australia, US/Canada.You use the US/Canada power supply version, typically coded P9303, P9603, etc.
Paul K
To add to the above, the digital-equipped TT locos (equipped with HM7000 decoders) have been touted to work on track power from any NMRA-compliant DCC system. I'm in the USA, and plan to use the NCE Powercab I already own for HO for any TT120 equipment I buy.Granted, I'm guessing Hornby's target market for TT120 (at least in early phases) isn't the guy who already owns a full-featured DCC system. 96RAF
@PKNot only will they work from the app with DCC track power but they will also work as regular DCC decoders from your NCE kit.
John-357061
i setup a Layout in USA. There is a Hornby power supply for the North American market.Basically you need 15v 4amps for large layout and 12v for a small one. i just connected a DCC controller to the track. Soldered the wires.i started with a power supply from Amazon and a circuit breaker.
