Singer33
I now have 3 HM7000 TT120 locos.1 is factory fitted Trigo, the other 2 are Falcon and Night Hawk.I have no problems with Trigo. With Falcon and Night Hawk, applying a sound function such as whistle, will cause all locos on the track to cut out, around 1 in 3 times. After a few seconds they come back on again.I have tried each loco on the track on their own, same thing happens, they cut out when sound is applied. The power to the tracks comes from an NCE Powercab.Has anyone else encountered this issue? Fishmanoz
Some musings and questions:how many amps does the Powercab supply to the track?that question is because a possible cause is shutdown due to current draw exceeding supplyall 3 locos have the same decoder and the same wiring so, despite Trigo not exhibiting the behaviour, it is likely not being caused by the locos per seactivating a sound only draws minimal additional currentgiven minimal current and happening with only one loco on the track, more than current seems to be in playEnd of musings. LTSR_NSE
Just for clarification does this occur when using only Bluetooth, only DCC or both? How is your layout wired? Also do all the locos work perfectly apart from the sound?(It may be entirely coincidence that it is the ones you have installed - or there might be something you’ve overlooked?) Rallymatt
I'd check the decoder is seated correctly.
Singer33
Have not had chance to get to the layout since I posted, so thank for your assistance. When I did to the layout, it seems to have righted itself, the problem is no longer presenting itself. In any case:-Powercab supplies .13amps rising to .18 when whistle is applied.-problem only seemed to happen when running on Bluetooth-layout is wired with dropper wires off bus cablesWill be back on if I have anymore problems
