Hornby_guru
my model railway is made up of 5 small loops separate from each other and im not sure how to connect all of it to 1 dcc controller and would have to enough power to run all of it together or would i need some sort of power booster? can i just have more wires coming out of my controller to connect to the other loops or is there a more professional way? what should i do ? poliss
It's not the number of loops that matters, but the number of locos you run at once. You could use some sort of connector block to distribute the wires from the controller.
Gregd99
As poliss mentions jamming lots of wires into the elite isn't very practical. a terminal block for distribution is a good idea. you can also use point clips (assuming the loops are connected by points) but this is generally seem as an inferior solution to direct wiring. An elite will happily drive 3 and possibly quite a few more locos. more than about 3 my head starts to hurt!
2e0dtoeric
Elite - about ten locos at once, if my memory serves - but on my layout, that would be nine collisions and one left running!
