haroon
Hi, I've searched everywhere and can't find what they're called. The little metal plates that the wires attach to and then contact with the braids. What are these called and is there an after market manufacturer that makes them??Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
Paul-346202
Hey Haroon,You can get a whole wiring loom off ebay with the contacts. People usually rip the wiring out and replace it so these can be found fairly cheap with the dpr connector too if you need that. Probably looking at £5, not sure if Pendle sell these as spares.I have taken most of my standard wiring out as people fit aftermarket guide and wiring as an upgrade. You can always upgrade or replace as standard.
Andy P.
Are you referring to the things on the ends of the wires numbered "10" on this service sheet?https://support.scalextric.com/hc/en-gb/article_attachments/6732940008338Those are extremely common and quite low tech, easily made from a bit of soft metal like copper. They also almost never break so I am curious why you are asking...? Paul-346202
I have broken one before, not an issue as I never keep the original wiring.
