Have you just completed a Pocher model kit or have a collection of models you wish to display, then find out the best ways to look after your model?

What's the best way of cleaning models of things like finger prints?

Fingerprints are essentially skin oils so any degreasant should remove them, like Fairy Liquid or IPA, noting that it is wise to test these on a hidden area. I suggest that each kit includes a test panel where various marks can be applied and certain substances be tried to remove them.

The answer of course is to avoid getting fingerprints on your model by treating it like a museum model and wearing white cotton gloves to handle it.

For the finer more delicate parts paint brushes really work at getting rid of dust

Maybe have a can of air duster spray - as used on PC keyboards - handy?
