Fingerprints are essentially skin oils so any degreasant should remove them, like Fairy Liquid or IPA, noting that it is wise to test these on a hidden area. I suggest that each kit includes a test panel where various marks can be applied and certain substances be tried to remove them. The answer of course is to avoid getting fingerprints on your model by treating it like a museum model and wearing white cotton gloves to handle it.
ModelMan85
I have always found that a microfibre cloth is great for getting bodywork to really shine.. For the finer more delicate parts paint brushes really work at getting rid of dust.
Ljevans
I keep a stack of glasses-cleaning cloths handy, ideal for the job.
