The Lamborghini Aventador is a dream car of mine, and I would love to own a real one, but sadly as I said it's a dream car. Anginsan Posted September 2 Share Posted September 2 Recently completed the Loths 72D, which I enjoyed. It was good to try a recent Pocher kit to add to my collection which includes the ferrari F40. I am halfway through an older pocher kit being the alfa romeo 8C, in the process of the 6 wire wheels. Lamborghini has always been my dream marque, I have the deagostini countach and the agora miura. But as is often the case, life, and a new family, got in the way. I continued to build models of all kinds but I still dream of building a Pocher. I retired this year so the Aventador would be a perfect introduction to the Pocher world. Please have a look to my vitrines and collection of Pocher and Lego super cars. I love the history of Pocher, how it came together, the journey so far and the resurrection of the brand. Each with its own ups and downs and to me Pocher is still the OG of 1:8 modelcars. There are nowadays quite a few brands, but none have that Pocher-magic about them. My goal was to own at least one model per modelserie of all the Pochers and I have been in the possibility to achieve it and I just love them. Colin-109530 Posted September 2 Share Posted September 2 The 1st Pocher I saw was an amazing red Ferrari Testarossa, I remember the size and detail. I have often looked at them being a hobby model builder but and avid Slot Car collector (around 2250+ in my collection, 800+ Scalextric). I have now got the Pocher Porsche 917 Gulf as its one of my favorite cars in one of the best liveries. I'm trying to make enough space to build and paint it. I have to say, this Lambo is stunning as well, I'm not sure if I would keep the same colour or custom paint with a holographic or chameleon paint. Habit for a hobby so this is where I am currently and if was lucky enough to win I would love to take this fabulous 1/8 scale with me when I go to shows as I show case all my models from pocher at car fest shows with Richard Hammond and Chris evans (virgin radio) to help raise money for uk charity’s . The bonding experiance would be amazing, He loved all the models when we visited the visitor center last year, he ask if we could but one but at the time they were a little too expensive.
