poliss
I found out on another forum that Arnold, (one of the Hornby International brands), have announced a 1:148, British N Gauge, Brighton Belle in two liveries. Umber/cream and blue/grey. Release date, according to my poor German, is March 2013. It appears to have a socket for a 6 pin DCC decoder. See here for a .PDF in German. http://www.hornby.de/ftp/Brigton_Belle_Neuheiten2013.pdf
Gary_Leeds
very interesting, I cant see the BB being that popular overseas that it warrants the cost of tooling. It did always perplex me why Skaledale was done in N gauge as well, seems very expensive just to add some fake perspective. I can see there being a lot of demand for the N gauge BB in the UK though. Has any other UK loco been done by Hornby in N in recent years?
poliss
I think the last time was in 1996 under the Hornby Minitrix brand.
Graskie
Just had a look at the site. It does in fact say that the last date for ordering is March 2013 and that any later orders cannot be back-dated.
