Signals for DCC train layout

Can anyone recommend Signals for my layout which will connect to my Hornby Elite controller. Do I need a decoder for them to attach through the Elite?

If I need a decoder can anyone recommend any Hornby signals which I can just connect up the old

fashioned way.

Cheers

Yes they will work OK with the Select.

You just connect them to the track put a bit of wire between the two "learn" contacts type in the address you want, so on the Select press the ACCY button then type in the address you want then press the left or

right arrow, signal programmed with the address.

You could give it the same address as that of the point, so when the point is activated the signal will change at the same time.

If you Google train tech DCC it will take you to the web site and you can

download the instructions for the signals.

BigNoj can you advise if the train-tech signals are ok to work with a select controller? Im reading that to get the most out of this you need an elite,

but dont really want to shell out 200 sheets.
