RM & XP, Window 7 & 8

A simple yes & no answer for a simple person (who would like software that just installs)as to whether RM will run on the above plateforms? Then I can decide to go with the old laptop or the new desktop with the least likely number of problems to encounter

 

before I get it working!

 

Perhaps I am unlucky, but past experience indicates,ask first before hitting the install button!

Short answer - yes.

 

Long answer - and there are separate drivers and installation instructions for each included with the documentation.

So to put you on the spot, which one would you pick if you had the option all things considered?

I use RM on 2 computers, 1 is XP and the other Windows 7.

As the performance of RM is independent

of operating system, the one you use is irrelevant. Therefore use the one with which your are most comfortable. For me, that is W8 with W7 very close behind.
