Rog RJ
stewart166 said: and also do i need a DCC decoder and DCC power and signal booster and a DCC reverse loop moduleYou need a computer to run the Railmaster software on and the Elink system. If your locos are "DCC ready" they will need a decoder fitting. If they are "DCC fitted" then they already have a decoder fitted. You don't need anything else for a simple layout. poliss
Are they DCC Ready or DCC Fitted? If DCC Ready they will need DCC decoders fitted to them. To use Railmaster+eLink you will need some sort of computer, such as a laptop or tablet. If you want to control points you will also need accessory decoders. You will not need a power and signal booster until you are running more than 10 locos at a time. You do not need a reverse loop module unless your track layout has a reverse loop. To see what a reverse loop is, see the diagrams on Brian Lambert's website. http://www.brian-lambert.co.uk/Electrical-2.htm#Reversing Loops. RDS
@stewart166 As long as you have a computer to run RailMaster on and some track to run your 2 digital trains, you have enough to get you started already. You will get a 1 amp power supply with elink. You will need to let us have more details of the layout you are planning before we can advise whether you need anything else
idlemarvel
Have a look at this thread which asks the same basic questions with lots of good answers. https://www.hornby.com/forums/hornby-forums/general-discussion/5650/?page=1&added=false
