ModelerXYZ
Run them in. I always run my locos in, even if I don't intend to run them again for a while. My layout is small and big locos don't fit well, but I run them in anyway.
walkingthedog
Anybody with half a brain would run their locos in, that's why I can't understand why Graskie doesn't. He's well qualified.

walkingthedog
You'd have to quadruple head them Graskie.
2e0dtoeric
If there is enough room, you could run them all in at once, with DCC and a 4 amp Elite!

You are right WTD, proved it by not getting it!

Fishmanoz
I've always thought of it as the saying, if you have half a mind to be a politician, that's all you need. But then I'm in favour of giving them a decent wage on the pay peanuts get monkeys principal. We deserve better. And Graskie, I must apologise for joining in and taking the milk from time to time. For me it is always intended to be lighthearted and certainly not derogatory. But it is so easy to take the printed word the wrong way. PS. Graskie, if we were to start exchanging post nominals at 50 paces, there is a possibility I might be slightly in front. But then I couldn't actually say so without seriously invoking the Oz tall poppy syndrome response, so I won't. Oops, I think I already have. walkingthedog
Hi fishy Graskie and I(sounds very royal) do exchange emails and the odd (very odd) phone calls. We know it's just banter. Bought a very nice loco from him. Wish he'd send me a few of his gold bars though.
Fishmanoz
Good to hear WTD, even when taking the mick, not the milk.
Graskie
I just thought "taking the milk" was perhaps a weird Aussie corruption of the Queen's English. Incidentally, do you get it from kangaroos, wallabies, Coca Cola bears.....?
Fishmanoz
Certainly not any of those, they all tend to be urinating, kicking and scratching beasties with minute teats found only in pouches. Not a good idea at all.
Fishmanoz
And as for the Queen's English, I thought that was only for the Queen. All of the rest of us mangle it as we see fit.
