Cronan Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Hi,I've just set up my new e-link put in my activication key loaded windows vista driver now I'm getting an error message saying ""unable to open designated DCC Controller port." Any suggestions would be a great help. I've unplugged and plugged imyths USB cable a few times uninstalled and installed the driver. I've got a feeling it my be to do with the driver. Also in the message window it also says Com23: 115200,None,8,1 I've put in settings com23 cause that's what it says in device manager. Fishmanoz Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Cronan, for a start, find a free port at 5 or below and set this up in Device Manager, then in RM Setup, then see how you go.
