Bobster673
My Son was bought a set with select controller for xmas, the train worked initially then stopped responding. The only way I can get it to go again is by reprogramming the DCC chip (push and hold SELECT until LA is displayed, enter number & then SELECT) after which it works fine for a while befor the same thing happens again. We also have Railmaster and eLink and have the same problem, but the fault is not replicated with our other train. Is there anything I can do with this train or should I just take it back?
poliss
I'd say take it back.
96RAF
As the problem is specific to that loco and not to the control side of things I would say the decoder is duff and the retailer should sort it out for you.
