poliss
Write 8 to CV8 to reset the decoder to default settings.
Chrissaf
I assume that the statement "I have Elite controller and DCC ready Helena Victoria." is a mistake. If it is truly a DCC Ready loco then it will not have a decoder fitted, and as such can not have 8 written to CV8. If it is a DCC Fitted loco, then 'poliss' has provided the correct solution. 96RAF
If it is DCC ready and unfitted then it may be poorly in the motor department if left standing on a DCC circuit.

Fishmanoz
Welcome to the forums dav, and taking you at your word, if you have been running a DCC ready loco, that is to say a DC loco, on your DCC layout, you could well now have a damaged motor in it. It is defintely recommended that you don't run DC locos on DCC layouts for this reason. Fit decoders to them first.
