Andrew Thomson1707819853
Hi all, This kit could possibly be added to KitStarter. While there are still a number of things to be checked, we are looking into this tooling (remember, we can't offer any guarantees). I'll be trying to keep this thread up-to-date with progress so be sure to check back. Would packs of 3 aircraft/vehicles be possible as I recently suggested? Peter Hayward1707820219
Excellent, well done to Airfix for listening to the clamour. Let's hope we all now put our money where our mouths have been - but perhaps too much to ask for a new tool Miles Gemini to accompany it........... david_fleming
As Thread starter I can only say how pleased I am - and I guess put my money where my mouth is. One question - will the kits come with decals? The box-art shown is from both RAF Transport and Queens Flight 'Rega; Beagle' boxings.
Lysleder
Yes, how about decals? Which ones will it be? Both? Would you be willing to make me some civilian ones if I ask nice?
Biggles5
So, whilst I'd love to back this one as I would dearly like a Beaver and a Basset or two or three in my collection, I cannot as once again, 30 quid postage precludes me from ordering it. Ian Vevers
Been looking for one of these on eBay - I want one!
Peter Hayward1707820219
Having ordered 2 am hoping that both decal options will be supplied! Incidentally, this must be one of the longer absences from the catalogue - was 1980 the last release?
threepot900
Biggles 5, I have preordered 3, and the Int'l postage shows as 20 quid. If you want one, they cost what they cost! but buy several and reduce the post per unit. Sell one of them to recoup some cash. Why not club together with friends/club members and order half a dozen, increasing the chances of production, and allowing you to split the postage.Alternatively if you drink or smoke, put the price of a beer or 10 cigarettes in a savings jar each week. I have several savings tins in the bedroom, and when I get changed from work I throw some of my spare change in these tins, and go to the bank once a year. All those 5,10,20, and 50 cents mount up surprisingly quickly. The last 3 years have seen me net $350-480 per annum, and that's not really trying. Eckhard Scheer
In my earliest memories, when I was a boy the kit was available, but I was not really interested in. At that time more powerful warplanes caught my interest. Nowadays I appreciate Airfix managment to lance this kit once more.
Thomas M. Lore
I would be interested in getting this little kit also...
Dave Leeman
I have one in the stash, an eBay purchase, although I could do with another, . . . Dave Leeman (hoping they keep the lovely original box artwork)
Tweezers
So I've popped one in my shopping basket where I'm told if I spend over £30.00 I'll get free postage. Is Kitstarter part of this offer? I can easily spend that! Advise please.Original box art and decals please!
paul_freeman
The big question now is.... After the initial flurry of backing up to 40% it has taken a couple of weeks to push up another 5%, at this rate of diminishing returns it looks, sadly, that even a kit this popular isn't going to make teh minimum required for the release. BTW does anyone know if there is a time limit on acheiving backing?
ZacYates87
That's a good question, Paul. What happens if there's never one that reaches 100%? How long until it's decided to scrap the programme? And release the kits anyway ;-)

I don't drink or smoke, but thanks for the savings tips. I live in Australia, in a rural area, there are no other model makers to my knowledge withing a 7 hour driving radiius. It's not the money, I could afford the shipping costs, but thirty quid ??? C'mon Airfix.
