Tony Osborne
These fetch silly money on Ebay and I want at least 3 (And a couple more to convert to the Wasp) I would prefer a new tool Wasp and Scout so the AS11/12 missiles , GPMG mount etc could be included. Mark Wheeler1707820299
Yes please! Apart from the Fujimi offering (or was that just a Wasp ?) the Scout is completely unrepresented in injection plastic, and it's a nice little kit - I'll have three! Michael Howard1707820167
Yes, one of my earliest builds. Wasn't there an article (airfix magazine?) giving details of the Wasp conversion?
Simon Bradley1707819838
Wasp/Scout. Oh yes please. The Wasp is the first helicopter I ever flew and the Scout one of the first Airfix kits I ever built... @michael Howard - I remember that article. If I recall it was quite complicated to do it properly.

malcolmincanberra
Wasp conversion was definitely in Airfix Magazine, and yep, it wasn't as easy as you'd think...

Airfix Magazine Annual No.5. Quite a complicated conversion and one which required an extensive 'spares' box if I recall correctly..

Harold Twerp
I've lost count of just how many of these I made as a kid. It must have been 20+ They all came in Plastic bags as I recall, and were stocked by my local Newsagent (of all places) but some "fell off the back of a Lorry." ;-) The name "Wasp" sticks in my mind, but I could be wrong... as I seem to recall that there WAS an option to build it in "Scout" mode. One had a "wheeled" undercarriage, the other simply the "Sledge" variety... which I always chose to make. I'd certainly like to build another one (or two) for old times' sake. I'd certainly vote for it.
