Forum-1211528 Posted May 30, 2015 Share Posted May 30, 2015 I'm 14 years old so I never had the privilege of building an old, out-of-production model.About a year ago, though, I decided that I wanted to build a B-29 Superfortress for a WW2 / Early-Cold War American bomber collection.I spent countless hours trying to track this model down on both the Internet and in specialist antique model stores. The only success I had was a couple of second-hand B-29s on eBay, which were unfortunately being sold for a stupidly high asking price of around £100! I really hope that Airfix put this model into their KitStarter project because it is such a rare model these days, considering the fact that it was such a famous and iconic aircraft.:) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
