At the Bentley I shortened the rods of the front mud guards, because they stood too high over the wheels. But when looking closer, it wasn't the length of the rods, that was wrong, but the radius of bend (?) of the fenders. At the lower rod the distance is still too big, but you can't bend the fenders, so you have to accept it. For the windsreens I have used thinner material.
