  1. Thanks for the comments. I based the diorama loosely on a photo taken in New Guinea. The trees were purchased from Amazon and weathered with acrylics. I also added a wet effect using AK wet effects. Really enjoyed building this and practising some techniques
  2. My first build in a long time. Just getting back into the hobby and really enjoying it
  3. Thanks Richard. Yes I was thinking along the same lines when looking at the instructions. As it happens I have managed to locate a wealth of info and footage of the M10 in action around Aachen in autumn '44 and also some images of early M10's in production and in the far east. Seems the spoked wheels were used on early versions and the solid road wheels on later variants. However the front sprocket could be either type judging by the footage I have seen. Best thing is I can now build the model !
  4. Thanks Richard. I have seen a couple of build reviews and the same question comes up there about the ambiguous instructions. I found a brilliant photo of a preserved example at the Aberdean proving grounds but the wheel configuration is different to both images on the box art ! 🤦
  5. I received the M10 tank destroyer as part of the 'mystery box' and am really looking forward to building it but haven't got past page 1 !! The instructions indicate options for selecting the front sprocket , rear wheels and the part on top of the bogie with no explanation as to the correct application of each option . Does anyone have an idea please ?
  6. I hope somebody can help me out here . When reading the Airfix facebook post about the Hobby Reward Points offet over the easter weekend I read it as meaning that when making a purchase if you used your Hobby points they would be worth double. Am I correct ? I finally got response from customer services who say that "The Double Rewards points offer was for earning double points when ordering Easter weekend not doubling existing points". Strangely the Facebook post can no longer be found. Furthermore my Hobby reward account states that I am due 675 points ( I spent 67.50 on a Vehicle mystery box plus 10% disccount). If what customer services is saying is true how come I am not due 1375 points ? Something not right there. I will be calling on Monday
  7. Something clearly wrong with their ordering system. They are not responding to email either.
  8. There still appears to be an issue applying the Hobby points. I placed an order and when prompted clicked on the tick box to add my Hobby points. After payment cleared the hobby points have not been added. I was keen to take advantage of the double points promotion. Now having the hassle of contacting customer services.
  9. I just placed an order and selected the option to use the Hobby points. Once payment was complete the points have NOT been included in the order. I have contacted customer services.
