    Hello, can someone tell me the R number for the HP motor to suit the Smokey Joe family. The service sheet indicates that it is R8966, is this the new HP motor?

    Is the re-release of the NSWGR 38 class locomotive the same tooling and motor configuration to the earlier models and will it be dcc ready?

    I agree, rubbish! I have a tender drive Scotsman, runs well on flat track but can’t even get itself up a 2% grade. Tyres are all good and the locomotive runs freely.
