some advice please. I am having trouble in getting a decent dayglow finish, have tried white basecoat also black but always get a thin or thick finish, both with brush paint and airbrush. Any advice would be welcome

some advice please. I am trying to build a 1/72 knat and i am having trouble in mating the wings to the fuselage. after three attemps i keep getting the same problem in fitting the wings, i keep gettting a large gap between the underside between the wings and fuelarge, also a step between the cockpit and wings Any advice would be welcome
