My first Airfix kit was the Bf 109G, which was bought for me by my dad when I was about 7, so late 60's. The first kit I was ever bought, however, was a Frog Bleriot XI, ideal for a beginner. grinning

I had one of these when I was a lad, it's a Datamatic car from around 1970. There was the Porsche 917 and an Aston Martin DBS, which is the one I had. It would have come with six cones and six data discs, each one with a different pattern moulded into it. A disc would be placed into the space on the underside of the car and when it was switched on it would follow the course on the disc.
