  1. Class 20 scheduled for Q2 2024 - i asked george via email last week :)
  2. Had my decoders installed for a few days now and im pretty pleased with them. However, one the one in the 73 with the stay alive is acting oddly. The sound comes on with F1. Runs great sounds great. Try to turn the sound off and pressing F1 the sound stays on. All the other F keys work and F1 works to switch it on but it just wont go off. E end up taking off the track where it sits there ticking away for a whopping 28 seconds before it finally dies. Done it a few times now. Controlling via DCC but will try via the app tomorrow. Anyone else had this?
  3. Easiest way might be to buy one of the prefitted TTS 47s and transplant the decoder to your loco or possibly just swap the bodies over.
  4. Cheers dropped hornby a quick email and there going to send me a new speaker :) 96RAF, thats a good idea it would be handy to be able to buy spares.
  5. Sucess!! Tried it again, this time on my phone and it worked. The only thing i could do with is a replacement speaker. Is it possible to get one without having to return the whole package?
  6. Hi ive installed a 21 pin decoder along with the speaker and stay alive into a dapol 73. Ive have tried several times to install the class 73 soundfile but it fails every time after taking 20 mins or so to download. Every time it says sound files not loaded and that theres an error. To test the decoder i loaded a couple of other profiles ( 08 and deltic ) and they loaded fine, but i do seem to have a faulty speaker as it crackles and hisses and distorts quite badly Does anyone have any suggestions? Ive already done a class 56 install today and that went fine first time.
  7. Make sure you search HM DCC not HMDCC :)
  8. The old 08 TTS decoders been out of stock everywhere for a while so youd have to use the TXS decoder.
  9. I dont see why not. Ive used TTS in a few 0 gauge models, including the 08, Jinty and Pannier. Ive even seen on youtube TTS being used in big heljan diesels - albeit as a secondary decoder thats just providing the sound.
