@Dave the Busker I agree, although I get the feeling the 70’s 80’s & 90’s might be where they shift their focus. Perhaps the lack of interest of the era11 HST (compared to the era 7&8 versions) might put them off of the really modern stuff?

I should add… almost every one I spoke to said that communication with Hornby has never been so good.

@Generic Hornby Username I think that’s plenty to be getting on with.
As for who actually insisted they really were doing something. I believe you’ll all be pleasantly surprised.

I view that short report as very positive - £12m worth of stock in hand to shift, that is a lot of models.
Yes that’s a lump… I’d be interested to know in what scale?😉

Apologies if this topic has already been posted, but I couldn’t find it.

I won’t pretend for one moment that I understand the exact details of corporate finance. But it strikes me this can be interpreted with either a half glass empty or full…
Personally, it feels like they are going in the right direction, whilst Hornby seem to be continuing their investments into new tooling & products.

@Peachy sorry for my reply to your post about what dock 040 shunter will be in a set.
apparently many people on this thread believe it to be true that you can put a model oo loco input data at 67 % in to a printer and it will come out has a TT120 model i have been informed by member 1707822967 in three reply's. it was a joke about hornby producing a cheap set with a dock shunter lol 🙂 . peachy can you please ask the mods to look at my replys on this thread and member 1707822967 to me to see if my replys where ok ,
and warn people about it thanks 🙂
Hi @happy tt
Sorry, what? Who? Why? Where? What’s going on?
Did I miss something? 🫣🤣 -
Cheers @dBerriff@Postman On The Rails@LTSR_NSE
I must admit we were very pleasantly surprised at Martyn’s openness. I really feel it bodes well for the future.
Side note: it’s still not as popular a video as the whinny, opinionated nay sayers stuff…. Never mind eh?- 1

How do you get ‘boxier’ than an 08? 🤔
Dock Shunter perhaps? 🤷♂️
I’ve got no idea… maybe something with a big square central cab, but that wouldn’t be an 0-4-0 would it?

One question I noticed was asked but I never saw an answer to was the BR Blue 08 being removed from the web and if it would return.
Hi Tim. Yes it seems like it was lost because we didn’t specifically reference it again, but basically yes, it will (or perhaps with another TOPs number) return at sometime in the future. Basically everything produced at some point in some way will never really ever be “taken off the books” just might not make that years catalogue.
I think my idea of it returning in a set is unlikely to bare fruit. More likely that job will be filled by a slightly smaller simpler boxier 0-4-0 diesel- 1

Hello all, they did touch on some other information, some of which will be addressed in further interviews, but of course firstly we were trying to keep this episode as close to an hour as possible, and also we really want to keep this channel of communication as unhindered as possible, so I hope you understand we need to consider their marketing strategies as business plans when me & Greg are editing.

Pre-ordered mine in April ‘23 & they’re still showing in my pre-order list…
Maybe a call to the lovely customer services might be needed?

I’ve gone with a full rake of 2e’s in the old blue & grey, plus a full rake of 2f’s in the intercity livery.
That combo just makes more sense to me…. -

Yes, I wondered if the figures were Accurascale personnel 😊 Agree, I have a few of their wagons and they are not only very good but also good value in the three item sets. Accurascale was the manufacturer I was hoping would "get on board" with TT:120 . I'm wondering if it's worth ordering the figures just to make the point that the TT:120 community are eager for them to proceed? I wonder if Peachy and Mac have made contact with Richard at Accurascale yet?
Hopefully one day he’ll talk to us…
Maybe after he’s seen our first 2 real guests in our next “Let’s Talk TT’ video 😉
(I promise it’s gonna be good..😊 )

So am I right in thinking the car numbers are the same as the ones on sale without coaches?
That’s disappointing, I thought at least these would be different. -
Got my order in… 😀

Morning Gang,
I hope everyone’s buoyed up by the arrival of the Era7 HST125?
If you’re in a happy mood and want to spread the joy, could we ask if one of you would be so kind as to share a link of the video on these two Facebook pages?
Hornby TT:120 Group
New Hornby TT gauge. Modelling and ideas
As I use Facebook as a “page” rather than as private individual &Greg doesn’t use it at all, I can’t post or comment on those pages, so have had little interaction (only 👍 likes) with the members of those groups.
Only if you think it’s worth it (if you think what Greg and I are doing is for the greater good)cheers,
Chris & Greg

Wow! Thanks guys… I was bracing myself for at best, some light ribbing (still time for that) or some actual ridicule for being so self indulgent!
I really wasn’t expecting so many positive and supportive comments.
Thanks again.
Greg, looks like we should plan another.

@Generic Hornby Username the only evidenced release I can see that’s missing from your list is the LNER HST which is mentioned with the British Pullman set as being due in October for the Christmas season.
I thought Hornby described the HST as an “East Coast mainline” in the 1st magazine, which of course is different to LNER?
Or maybe they hadn’t made their mind up?
Ones a grey livery the other’s red. -
I thought we’d ironed out the sets question? 🫣
I’m pretty sure the British Pullman will be an amalgamation of the two current sets. As has already been announced, so that means Willy in green as per the eastener, with Pullmans from the Scotsman set.
Both current sets being dropped.
If an A4 gets a new livery surely they’ll have a name as there’s so many to pick from.

I’m pretty sure that Peco wasn’t at Key.
(although I missed Railtech which I’m gutted about so maybe I missed them too?)
