  1. Studio27 Ferrari Daytona 1973 Le Mans-just finished one of their Corvettes so its a like for like replacement for the stash-sort of! Always only one set of vac-forms-for the money you think they could put in a spare set.
  2. Here we go again! No new product means there's little to build/show/discuss really-sorry but i dont count the "quick-builds"! Hate to flog dead horses but other manufacturers seem to find room for cars/trucks-some specialise in them and stay in business but nothing from Airfix. Ultimate irony when a French manufacturer brings out a new kit of a tractor that started the Airfix line!
  3. Thats a smashing build and the brushed finish looks great. I've used milliput in the past to do cushions/head rests-saves the spares box!
  4. Hi-some "ifs" with that one-are you brushing with a brush(sorry) or spraying with airbrush?-if airbrush then you will definitely need to thin with enamel thinners and proportion of paint to thinner can vary according to brand of paint-maybe 70%/30% paint to thinner to start and see if/how that goes through the airbrush and add thinner accordingly to adjust the mix-shouldnt need to go more than 50/50 though. If hand brushing with the so-called "hairy stick" then again you get different approaches-first maybe use a big flat brush for block base colours as enamels can be brushed on straight from the tin but many people add a little thinners-maybe 10%-to help the paint brush a little easier and then sand lightly between coats as trying to get it done with one coat probably wont work. Hope all goes well
