  1. Cheers Guys yes we now know ....maybe a project for the future thanks for your comments ...Stu
  2. When Hornby released there TT120 paper Catalogue..there was no ESSO In there...I ordered 3 x BP. 3 x TOTAL and 3 x CARLESS...Has anyone heard or ordered the CARLESS...these were ordered in the period of 10% discount T.I.A. (Island with No Trains)
  3. Cheers 96RAF....I think wrighting the HM7k Decoder...first should set the decoder up normal with the CV train number set to what you want. But when the Train O Matic or ESU RailCom Decoder is done connected second and only write the CV with the Train number as set or written to the HM7k decoder .I think otherwise something may conflict??? does that sound fair???
  4. Just one for the Techies among you .. So we have established the new decoders don't have RailCom enabled to report back Train name or number on let's say i-Train with a DK5000 and block detection (or Hornby Elite..) What if we added this Item (below) (RailCom Transmitting decoder) to a Train fitted with a HM7000 decoder or to a Carriage /Wagon being pulled by the above said train (only wiring required for this is to pos and Neg power)...this is in parallel with you HM7000 and only run it in DCC not BT...would it conflict with the HM7000 decoder??
  5. Thank you Paul for that background info... Still it is excellent in what it can do and Im sure there is more to come....Yes although I know DCC 7000 App reads the CVs on the Chips I did try to read them via RM .and yes they work ok with RM as it stands....I am hoping this will be in the upgrade but as 96RAF states Block detection would be nice after all these years .....thanks again
  6. I think Hornby contract out the Storage and Distribution ..years ago when in the Trade Corgi distributed to the trade via a third party...this meant less warehouse space and storage...so it makes sense to turn round quickly what ever comes in first..having loads of separate Items stuck on shelves for individuals at a shop (e.g Hattons) is more common But Hornby's Distribution would not only be doing Hornby products they will be Hornby Corgi Airfix Jouf, Arnold and so on If this is the case
  7. I went on and the class 08 s had jumped to £158 so went to a neighbours house..logged on from his place prices normal....got to be cookies or the algorithm
  8. Hi guys coming back with a vengeance after being absent from RM and Elites..for 10 years...Starting a new layout in TT in the coming months got all the Controllers out of mothballs and the original computer..( oh dear) it's relic..New computer then?...just read your short post about TaGG...is this near its final stages..need to read more about this..and where there is any info😁👍
  9. Did anyone see the YouTube video with Simon Kohlen..having a zoom interview about TT120 and HM7000...where Simon stated he was excited that the App will be upgraded extensively including eventually with block detection...we've heard that before...but you never know?..just saying🤣
  10. Cheers RAF Although Im mainly into N gauge I have decided to start a new Layout in TT120 and decided to dable down Block Detection and Routeing....I didnt want to waste good money planning and building for these new Decoders to not have that feature
  11. Just a quick question ,,, will the Decoders be ABC compatable for slowing down at signals. Stations Block detection ect
  12. I have just got the set down to my home here on Lanzarote and tested it today..so not been in touch with Hornby.yet was just wondering if anyone else had this problem ... Nightraker
  13. After watching HORNBY a Model World tonight on the Yesterday Channel It was interesting to see how excited the designers were when samples of coaches arrived for checking out ..when pulled around there test track the employee stated how freely the coaches ran. My Gresley Coaches don't the wheels catch the underside of the body on the track supplied in the Scotsman Set I purchased..Anyone else finding this problem?...Nightraker
  14. Will the Hornby TT Pullman Coaches have... Working..table lights...????
