  1. Not a Mustang but I have one of those coming together soon. So a Curtiss Tomahawk IIB
  2. My growing pile of models says yes :)
  3. After many years of mostly Warhammer I took an interest in model ships. At the start of the year I saw the mystery bundles on the Airfix website and I thought I would have a go at them. So here are my first 4 attempts at Airfix Aircraft.
  4. In my most recent 1:35 mystery box I got 3 Kits: M18 Hellcat, Jagdpanzer 38[T] and a Tiger 1 mid version
  5. I like the 1/600 scale, its just that bit bigger than 1/700 and makes it more fun for me. I get put off working on 1/700 ships (working on a HMS Agincourt atm) as some of the bits are so small, so much so I started an Airfix Victorious mid build. There are also many makers of 1/700 ship kits on many subjects. I would prefer Airfix to stay in the 1/600 ship(ing) lane. Also for me I consider 1/350 too big to have a large fleet
  6. As others have said 1/600 HMS Queen Elizabeth / Prince of Wales And make sure 1/72 kits of aircraft appropriate to the ship are available at the same time 1/600 Iron Duke and King George V reissue I like 1/600 ships the parts are big enough that I don't lose them :)
  7. Nice Camo one at the top and the new build is looking good
  8. There are still a number of the old Airfix/kitmaster train kits in production by Dapol. It would seem unlikely Airfix would get back into making them at this time and I would like to see a return of new 1/600 Warship kits first However they do like tanks so maybe we can compromise with something like this MBV-2 Armoured Train and get the foot in the door :)
  9. I ordered 3 at the start of the year and was happy with that I got Ship box: Hood, Bismarck and Golden Hind Aircraft: F15 Starter, Spitfire Vc and P-51D 1/35 Tanks: M36B1, M7, M4A3(76)W and Later version Tiger 1 The 1/35 is the most expensive but has the best savings and its 4 kits. I consider them a good way for me to get back into the airfix model range and away from my Warhammer and other brand 1/700 ships
  10. I just joined on the 4th of January and am still hoping to get the Kate. But "Airfix Club 2021 is now out of stock" & THE 2022 CLUB IS COMING SOON! STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS... now appear on https://uk.airfix.com/community/airfix-club I have emailed to ask so will see what they say
