  1. Surely the faces should be grey like the model faces they're based off? Also, I find that on the older trucks, the front coupling arm has a habit of snapping off. Don't ask why, but 4 of my 5 trucks have this issue.
  2. I know, but those few things can help detail the model and make it more accurate.
  3. I have the later 2006 one. A few tips for a little TVS accuracy: For the chassis, paint the coupling rods black, then put white on the bolts and wheel rims. On his front, there are two dots. The one on his right is where his lamp was in the model series, so paint that white or yellow if you like lamps.
  4. It's from a magazine, I can't remember what it was called. It's OO, and has plenty of detail.
  5. Wow, those pictures of the station at night look so realistic! Impressive!
  6. I use a static model of Truro on my sodor. He never moves in the episode, so it's okay.
  7. Nice, I can't wait to see it! It's interesting how Oliver and Rosie are the same size as OO, as opposed to all the others who are HO.
  8. Unless an engine of mine is pulling the 'Limited', I often have set coaches for each engine. Scotsman has 6 teaks, Gordon has a mix of his own coackes and GWR coaches, my GWR tank engines have autocoaches, Stepney has a blue Mansuell coach, and the rest of my engines have different liveried 4-wheelers.
  9. My latest aquisition is a really old Tri-Ang R16 brakevan. It's really beaten up and broken, so the body will be used to make Toby the Tram Engine and the chassis will be used for a standard gauge Talyllyn slate truck.
  10. That'd just be laziness :P I haven't even filed down the smokebox door yet!
  11. I could, but then I'd be spending too much on wooden trains :)
  12. I know, but my brother has a wooden setup and I don't want to deprive him of anything. I'll use some form of clay to make a mould, then fill the mould with resin.
  13. Yes you are! Later today I'm going to see if I can find a cheap wooden Porter to copy the face from. 3-D printing works, but I'm a mere amateur.
  14. My latest aqisitions are some body shells. An LMS 2-6-2 2MT and a H.K.Porter 0-6-0 dock shunter.
