  1. I have the most recent version of the super detail Hornby B12 and has been running fine until recently. when i take the loco body shell off, she runs like a dream but as soon as i put the loco body shell on again she goes really slow (no matter how high i increase the speed to). nothing appears to be catching or fouling the movement of the wheels. just curious if anyone has had this problem? i cant take the weight out of the loco, as the weight is in the diecast used in the body shell.
  2. its a real shame that retailers had a last minute cut of allocations for this model.
  3. My Sir Nigel Gresley set arrived from hattons with the stickers still sealed.
  4. Hi there, I ordered a few locomotives back on the 3/1/2016 but they have never arrived. 😢 I have been regularly sending emails to customer care and sales to try and resolve the issue because it has been 3 months! Everytime i get an automated reply and that is it! They say i will get a reply so i wait, hear nothing and send another email (going through the same process again and again). Fellow members: Is anyone experiencing this same problem? Administrator: If you could please follow up on this for me that would be greatly appreciated because i am very frustrated at the lack of communication and i am questioning whether I should order from Hornby again (including cancelling pre-orders).
  5. Got a few locomotives. Brand new: Commonwealth Of Australia Silver Fox Second Hand: Gladiateur all hornby of course.
  6. Muzza said: Hi AUSLNER, I'm in Australia as well and have had no hesitation in sending locos to Hornby for service. The last service cost something in the order of AUD$25 (+cost to post it). I know that people from all over the world send their LS locos to Margate for service, so I'm sure it is not only the best option, but probably the only commercial option where they have the knowledge and the spares. Just as well they are good. ok cool. do have to contact customer care? whats the process? how long did yours take?
  7. Living in Australia, where can i send my Live Steam Mallard for this service. how much is it?
