Hello , I was just searching for details of Minor Resin Kits and this forum popped up . I have had a look around and the whole 1/32 v 1/24 debate is in full swing . I think Airfix is missing a trick our Transatlantic friends are well aware of . Classic Saloon's in 1/24th scale have a big following and I bought the Resin shell in question as I intend to Customise it . It is just a slightly wobbly shell and I fully intend on raiding my parts box for a big old V8 , wheels , running gear interior etc . As said 1/24 is the chosen scale for the rest of the world , we can cross parts over , modify , do as we choose . A Morris Minor kit would be the ideal candidate for such things , as would a Cortina , Pop , Escort , Zephyr/Zodiac or any number of classics Airfix has already released in 1/32 If carefully chosen it would be a world-beater , The classic folks would be happy with the chance to build a standard icon , and the modifiers will go " cool, something different that isn't going to require 30 hours to get straight before I even think about raiding the parts bin. " They don't even need to worry about supplying the parts to modify as we tend to buy another kit for transplantation purposes anyway. I loved building the 1/32 rereleases a while back but I would have loved them so much more if they were in 1/24.
