Just arrived an hour ago. Should I add it to the build pile ?

Ratch got me wondering now just exactly what these are made from. Some metals don’t rust, some do. Most kit instructions I’m familiar with say to paint them bronze or copper but Isuspect they are either cast iron or stainless steel.

I also got a bunch of Spitfire Mk.Vb and am doing the decal set for the Eagle Squadron. 10 Spitifres. Randall

I'm doing a BUNCH of them. just wondering what the group thinks is a correct color. I have a LOT of different Alclad colors like copper, pale hot metal, exhaust, steel etc, as well as lots of other stuff. Randall

I got some more photo backdrops from Coastal kits in the UK. The Defiant is one of my favorites Randall

I have always used Channel lock pliers. Granted I have broken off bottle tops in the past, but the splattered paint wears off in 6 months or so. Randall

That’s good Ratch. I can let my breathe out. You know building two such large models Randall might think you are competing with his multiple building methods. Good luck with them both! Grumpy Don't worry, I'm not into competition. I've got 6 kits going now but it's slow as I am quite busy at work. I did get some more display cases too. I need to do some repair work before I can use the large one. Randall

Was this the same engines used in the Airspeed Envoy? Have the Anson and the Envoy side by side would be interesting. Randall

I have an ancient Airfix Anson in 1/72. I got a photo etch set to go with it. Should be fun. Now I got to find it…. Randall

I found some items by Coastal kits in the UK. I just got the Japanese airbase. I think it suits a variety of locations.
