Rang Hornby customer services yesterday , said it should be here within 48 hours ! 1 week delivery !!

Thanks, I had an email from "Hermes" but it did not look genuine and no mention of Hornby.

Does Hornby have a delivery problem? placed an order last Wednesday and no delivery or update as requested. Looked for the same item on Amazon and it is next day delivery and free postage!

Thanks for the replies , I tried to access the DCC socket in the tender without success . Managed to remove the Loco body and all seems well , put it all back together and it's working now ? see how long it lasts .

I should have said the loco is only 3 months old so would not expect issues after such a short time

Just searched this on the forum , mine also has a stop start issue , some day work fine , other times just goes a few inches and stops , or just does not start at all , any tips please ? running on DC , I have Santa loco which works all the time without fail so not a track or power issue .

Got the above to go under Christmas tree and got the bug after 50 years ! can abyone tell the "R " numbers off the track pls ?
