  1. @RDS I wanna remove the chassis to coat the wagon in grey and add a clay face to resemble a troublesome truck from TTTE. I don’t trust masking tape for some reason so I want to have the main wagon part on its own so I can spray paint it.
  2. I want to try and customize a simple wagon I got from the Santa’s Express set, but having difficulty getting the chassis off. Any help is good, thanks!
  3. With how old the ballast is, something could've developed in it to make it turn that. The PVA could have contributed to that as well. I'm not a modeller like everyone else but that sounds like a good theory to me. -Set In The West (LittleOldPug)
  4. I agree with @ellocoloco. With the new "All Engines Go!" stuff, they wouldn't be bringing it back. Too childish, and possibly wouldn't be able to make the right proportions for how the engines look now.
  5. Ayy, good on you! I can understand that he doesn't wanna talk about future products, just the releases or announced. Can't spoil any news, y'know?
  6. I think there is coal that can be used thats in the model shops, but if that doesn't work, I dunno what will for ya.
  7. I may or may not make a Percy the Small Engine custom using Hornby locos/tooling. If anyone has done this, please tell me what loco/tooling you used, and how it worked out. Anything and everything will help! LittleOldPug
  8. Congrats man! It takes a LOT of time to get that many views, or get viral. Nice work, and keep it up!
  9. Anything goes for other model railway brands on the forums. I've discussed Bachmann and Rivarossi here without problems. Promoting/advertising isn't though. LittleOldPug
  10. My latest acquisition was a Rivarossi Burlington 550 diesel. It's quite old, and stutters at times, but runs very well! LittleOldPug
  11. Yea, change the settings. It makes sense for me, since I do live in the USA. Dunno why it would do that for the UK/England. LittleOldPug
  12. Maybe try and use the Furness K2? I feel as if people have said that already. Or a SE&CR Class D?
  13. Not like I know much, but I don't know, maybe, or maybe not. It could be a bit of trial and error. The other/previous responses might help out more. LittleOldPug
  14. elloloco My Rivarossi diesel is a Burlington 550, but an older model. And to everyone else, I will try to save for a new controller, but for now I'm stuck with the one I have. If anyone has any more ideas, let me know. I was offline due to being gone on holiday (Vacation in America), and couldn't get back. yet again, let me know if you have anymore ideas, anything goes. LittleOldPug (P.S/edit. I got the set in 2020, idk if that helps)
  15. ellocoloco, To answer your questions, my controller is the standard R8250 that came with the Santa's Express, and with everything plugged in correctly, I have the controller dialed down to 0, but when I turn it, the light will blink then go off. Then, with the diesel, it will go for a while then cut out. I hope that helps, and that I explained it good enough. LittleOldPug
