  3. Can we assume that these diesels will come with sound cubes already fitted. So that it's worth ordering a sound decoder with them. Ron
  4. Thank you for all your comments job done are fitted and working. Will do the job until the class 50 and 66 are released. Not a great supporter of steam locos.
  5. You have to o remove a cap off the socket then insert your new coupler and recap. The caps are very fiddle to remove and can shoot off anywhere. Already lost one so awaiting new ones from Roco.
  6. It's a new release loco you cannot pull it out however if you take the cap off the coupling holder you can fit a new coupler in and recap and it all works fine.Only problem is the cap is very small I lost one never to be seen again so ordered a replacement from Roco.
  7. The problem is that Roco TT uses fleischmann profi couplings and I don't know if these can replaced with NEM sockets.
  8. Just anyone know how to replace Roco couplers with Hornby ones.
  9. My 08 would start running then stop and I noticed the short circuit bulb was lighting up. Any way I found the problem was heavy solder on one of the wires from the chip plug was touching another wire once I filed it down everything is running fine now.
  10. Arrived today but not happy installed a 6pin chip but very poor running. Been trying to run it in but it just keeps stopping and sometimes I just cannot get it running again given up for the night now. Have another look at it tomorrow. If not it's a Hornby telephone call on monday.
  11. Thank you TTiimm for the advice removed the metal lugs and been running for 45 mins no problem the metal was just stopping the bogies turning that little bit as they came off the curve.
  12. How easy is it to remove the front bogies I am not the greatest at fixing things on locos.
  13. The front bogie wheels keep coming off the track. I done everything I can think replaced track pieces fixed it down.It seems the main problem is when it comes off the curves to the straight track. I'm using 3rd & 2nd radius curves.I am beginning to regret changing to TT from N. Any suggestions would be appreciated to help slove the problem. Ron P
