hi smr248 the amount on you is 129.77 package is in euros and is about £110.90 pounds so is fine and you should be ok for the duty. if you login to msn on msl webpage and put something in your basket and look to the left under your name on the shopping cart it says no vat on this order thats why you get different amounts per items on the web page and in your shopping cart ln euros and pounds first german vat is taken off and then uk vat and the msl price thats why i keep 20% ready for an invoice just in case so £104 plus £10.70 p+p plus £20 .to pay it that was my last order l just do it for myself i have not had to use my £20 for the vat yet after one year's worth of models but not a lot by peachys standard lol 😊

hi postman is that total with shipping £134 so below the amount you have to pay inport duty. but you might get ask to pay vat .if so should it not be customs and excise to chase you for the vat or what ever they are called now . not a delivery company like fedex i order five lots of items from msl starting in feb and ending in dec last year i checked they where all below £116 invalue so no duty i have not had an invoice for any vat yet on any one of them so you might be ok i can't wait to see the items you received today pics please 😊

yes piko prices are £78 in msl but in this country they are £110+ and thats a good price .i paid £71 pounds for two arnold hoppers about 6 weeks ago from the hornby web site one week latter the same hoppers on msl £51 +p+p of£11 , but i would have order more to take care of the extra p+p the same with the hormby class 43HST on msl £161 plus p+p£11 ,but plus inport duty and VAT how much would that have come two if you add in the %20 vat in germany say 18 euros they still get it cheap than we do and the p+p is about £3 or 4 euros and they get paid more wages to boot win win and the old get for more thats what my father would said every budget day lol😂

hi noch do some nice sets i like the bbq set not a bad price in the sale , yes piko make nice locos i like the vectrons but most are £145 plus . there are some that are £68 to £79 they are a hobby range but not too bad i have got to be good . i just got the TT120 hst on friday or the wife will nick my laptop and a hammer😊

or i see, hope its ok i would love to buy some nice locos from them but got to keep it below £135 or get hit with the duty on it. i don't know if it's the full amount or 10%-20% of the amount more 40% its the vat +the duty .vat i am ok with but the duty ,

hi keep us posted none of mine has been open the msl tape is ok since twenty twenty there is no invoice in the box anyway . how do they do it anyway , my deliveries end up in stanstead for some reason that's an airport less then three days from germany . but a week in uk 😊lol

I said i don't know about the vat i wish i did . all i do is keep my order below £100+post £10.67+vat just in case . I wish i could go back to the good old days 'when you could order £300 +post of just 4 euros. I would order 3 or 4 times a year but that was so long ago 😂.

they are very good to order from. the VAT on all orders are minus we don't have to pay VAT in germany as we are not part of the eu we should pay uk VAT on each order but to who and how. all orders are less uk vat as well so we pay £20 per £100 less a hornby tanker is £19 compared to£ 23 the £135 i think is not with delivery included but i keep all my orders below £135 with delivery just in case but if some one can tell my different i would be grateful 😉

I bought a class 92 for £20.00 when david morgans departmant store in cardiff when it closed it was half price . they had a very large box full of them on the shop floor but they were all the same sad as i did not know they sold hornby just past the toy department by luck on that day😊

hi colinB 😊yes it will not go on and it is from lendon x1899 hornby it was hard to get the wheels off i tried both sides of the axle to see if it would go on but it was the same story both sides i was going to use a drill bit to see if I could make the hole bigger or a round file the old one came off ok it had a crack in it i don't want to force it on it might crack lol thank you 😊

😊i have got one of the wheels off the drive axle and removed worm gear but i can't get new one on i don't want to split it but the hole in middle is to small to fit it will go over the narrow end where the wheel goes but that is it just will not go on is there a way to make the hole bigger a drill bit might do it i think but i am not happy about it🫣

im so happy for all of those who order the class 43 and will get them in the next few days i would love to get the gwr one but i think the wife would do something to my fingers lol so no more orders i will have to wait for my class 66 and the rest to turn up😂

any british rail late crest locos large prairie tanks or county class i love any br loco in br green or blue and some jlntys to help pull the load and the class 47 of course

hi thank you all for all you help i bought the model ln 2008 ore 9 the R number is R2674 LMS 7413 is on the side of the cab they where made in china like all things ln this world they where released about 2008 or 9 hi going spare i tried to pull one of the wheels off but they are too hard to pull off l am scared i might do some damage to the wheels so i will have to buy a wheel puller i could not find the model shop online . i will see if l can find one somewhere else or it will be the rc car gear puller that hornby makes ore the one on ebay that is ment for RC cars they do have pins that are 0.9 mm 4mm in diameter i think too push the motor pinion out of the gear so it will come off atom3624 i left the wheel set on a towel on its side so they should go back in place in the middle and i will hope its ok and thank you colinB for you help to😊

hi sorry to ask how do you remove a wheel of a jinty drive axle has the black gear is loos and axle will not turn when the power is on i have just got a replacement from lendon x8199 for it some people on line said i should get a gear puller for it to push the axle out the one i could find was for rc cars to pull the gear of the motor pinon thank you happy tt 😊

you will need six TT8004 for each end of the loop so you will need twelve in total blush

the free christmas bus is nice but you have got to spend £50 to get one the only one i could find was on the corgi web page at £20.99 and the scale was 1:64 it will look very nice on a shelf blush thank you hornby

thank you hornby i just ordered another class 66 £109 just in case they change the benefits i got 15% off plus 10% in points plus when i started my membership , plus £30 i just saved is very good.will spend it on some thing i have got 19 days left so i would have to get a short membership from end oct to end jan 24 i would get 20% in points for that short time so i would have to renew twice in all oct 29 to feb 01 dif polnts20%hard to keep track of it all 15%+10% points when it all started it oct 2022 then 10+10blush points in extra points 2023 - 2024 what now don't have to worry know just renew it save's me money thank you hornbyblush

hi @ skelton junction i have got the platform people in a set of 72 unpainted they repeat the little people six times there are about 12 different ones in the set they are very small to paint that's why i let my wife do it. i liked the bbq set when i saw it was on sale msl i have got no where to put them at the moment as i have been adding four foot to my layout and building a harbour and laying track on the new part yum
