My wheels are rubbing when running on the original loop, I have also got track packs 2&3 but l don't intend to use yet as the tighter radius can only make things worse. Wondered if anyone else has noticed the loco slowing on curves at the same time. Wonder if this could contribute to the current issues with locos overheating motors?

We can appreciate that we all want different things. From the outset I set my heart on two old Duchess's, Atholl and Montrose (expect winter 24-25). If I pre order now would my basket price still be honored as in the present Club Member discounts? Thanks.

As poster of the original thread, l must apologise for not acknowledging the response from fellow forum members for their input to the problem. I originally contacted Hornby on the 6th February and eventually received an answer from Quality Control at Hornby yesterday. I was told that after looking into this issue "We have found that when the track is pinned down, this noise from the coaches is eliminated". Thanks again to everyone.

I like many received my Easterner on Saturday and could not wait to run it in. William got first turn, clock then counter, forward and back, sweet as a nut. Then added a coach, but was disappointed to hear a scraping noise on the curves in both directions. All three coaches seem the same. Just wondered if anyone has the same problem or am I missing a trick. Thanks for any advice or observations. Thanks.
