    Ordered 😊. As I've pre-ordered the digital Duchess of Athol, I guess I'll have to have Sir Edward Elgar pull them for now as some kind of railtour.

    Although I pre-ordered Edward Elgar last year and then ordered the coaches on Thursday when they came into stock. They all came in one parcel.

    My Edward Elgar and Mark 2f coaches arrived exactly the same time as I got in stock notifications for the coaches. 😄 I'll try and post pictures later.

    Class 87 seems a popular choice. I would definitely be interested in one of those as well as it's successor the class 90.

    In TT:120 Rambler's interview, Martin and Carl said they wern't sure what electric locomotives people would want. What electric locomotives would you all like to see hornby make? I personally would like an InteaCity 225 (class 91 and mark 4 coaches) in swallow livery.

    Actually. Zooming in on the pictures on the coaches available singularly. They show different numbers to the descriptions. In the pictures there is a E42064 and a E42065. So I think the coaches in the set are the same as those available singularly.

    The locos are the same. The coaches are listed in the description as Mk3 TS coaches E42064 and E42065, which are different numbers from any of the coaches available singularly.

    Pretty sure they are supposed to be era 2/3 like last years T12 tank wagons. The BP wagon has LMS on the solebar, so that would make it era 3.

    They've mixed up the eras again. 12T wagons announced as era 2/3, then listed on the website as era 4 🙄. LNER J50 pre-ordered. I'm looking forward to getting that. Shame there is no sound, or a decoder pre-fitted version.

    I've just read a BRM magazine review on the TTA tank wagons and, as I thought, two of them are labeled with the wrong era. The Total wagon is era 8 and the Esso wagon is era 6. Why can't Hornby get these things right? It's misleading customers!

    Has anybody been able to do consist running with the HMDCC app? It doesn't seem that you can do this yet with the app. There are instructions for doing it with the elite controller with the HST. I just wondered if I was missing something?

    There is a gap in the middle at the back of where the speaker goes. Gently pull the wires over the top of the speaker and run through the gap, thus avoiding the screws. I didn't figure that out until fitting the second one.

    Update I've received Flying Scotsman back from Hornby. The packing note said they'd changed the tender chassis and the decoder (looks like they've replaced the entire tender to me). I had quite a fiddle getting the new decoder linked up and working, but it seems to be running fine now.

    TT6022 TTA Tanker ESSO and TT6023 Tanker Total listed as Era 7 As these have the Railfreight Red Stripe, are they not Era 8? Similar tankers in the 00 range are listed as Era 8. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    I've been looking at my wishlist today, and I noticed the LMS coaches have slipped back from Autumn to Winter. Mk2E coaches have slipped back from spring 2024 to winter 2024/2025. pensive

    Good idea about running in the dark. I probably won't have time to do that, but it would be interesting to see. It's all packed away out of reach of my kids. As David said, with so many things wrong with it, it'll be going back.
