It was sticking the backscene up I didn't like. Enjoyed the rest.

I think my rules will be 3 of a kind. I have sidings for 3 trains and can run 2. So 3 steam for now, to become 3 LNER and 3 LMS as I collect; 3 diesel next, and maybe 3 modern freight with the 66s.

And in better focus, with some more detailing.

Will do. I need to go over the track with a rubber and get the trains back on, waiting for the final layers of scatter to dry completely first, so might be tomorrow. I built and painted a rockface on the far side before fixing the hill down, but it can't be seen.

I bought a pub to go there, but the size and style was wrong, so now got an unused pub. I put the little extension part of the station in there as a hut, and only use the main part of the station. I have put a S&C waiting room on a small platform in the opposite corner to the station as a countryside halt.

Steam 3 to 5. As per my thread on layout, the scenics don't support later very well.

Bit more done. Awaiting fence.

Was there any indication when the 9Fs would be available?

I wonder about the min radius though. Maybe some flangeless wheels like the old dublo had.

The station, church, terreaced houses, shops and crofters cottage are all fine and in proprotion to each other for a small layout. Pub is ok, but would have preferred smaller. I didn't get the bungalow, too large for what I have.

Got a terraced house today, just need 4 more now to complete the street. Got 2 shops too. And a forest full of trees. Only went in for scatter.

I started with the Scotsman. Had to send my Blink Bonny for repair, but no problem, and no issues with my Night Hawk. I have DC only using a twin track controller and segregated inner and outer loops. Sidings for 3 trains, so can run 2 out of 3 at any time. Objective was simply to have and watch trains go round. Oh, and to relive my childhood with the Duchess of Atholl, which I had as Dublo 3 rail. Looks quite good with 2 trains running in opposite directions.

Very much a table top TT120 for me. Track laid and ballasted. Landform drying out. Go to get scatter tomorrow. Station, halt, pub and church all delivered. Anyone know the width of the terraced houses please? Not sure if the quoted dimensions get width and depth mixed up. Just need to know how many to order to fit the space for a terrace.
