Yes, that’s all, holes in the base. Drilled 5mm holes and pushed them in, they hold quite well actually, really firm. I have had cars go off and straight into them, the barriers stand solid.

Hi, you could try easing off on the controller. Boring watching cars go flat out around a layout coming off all the time. I have five R1 curves in my layout, and you have to brake just right to negotiate them. Much more interesting braking and accelerating in and out of corners. New tyres (scalextric restorations) and a clean track.
