  1. new editions on my garage layout.
  2. Yes, that’s all, holes in the base. Drilled 5mm holes and pushed them in, they hold quite well actually, really firm. I have had cars go off and straight into them, the barriers stand solid.
  3. Hi, you could try easing off on the controller. Boring watching cars go flat out around a layout coming off all the time. I have five R1 curves in my layout, and you have to brake just right to negotiate them. Much more interesting braking and accelerating in and out of corners. New tyres (scalextric restorations) and a clean track.
  4. Just a few photos from my garage layout. I mentioned back in 2015.
  5. Hi, i have had my digital circuit in my garage for about 3 years now. Basic garage with concrete floor, brick walls and an up and over garage door. I have built the circuit around the perimeter of the garage right up to the garage door but allowing the up and over to still operate. I have had no problems with varying temps in their, in fact, it more or less stays the same. Through the summer obviously the up and over warms up it has not affected the track. And in the winter when there is frost on the ground obviously does go cooler in the garage but again have not experienced any problems. I haven't done anything about putting a carpet down yet to keep my feet warm. I must say that I do clean the track with wd 40, to me I think it keeps the track nice and supple.
