Nick_
Just wondering what type of glue do people use when attaching the parts supplied in Loco detailing packs?
trainlover23
A small dab of PVA never use superglue or plastic cement as these can damage the models
LCDR
PVA is a very versatile adhesive. I have used it to keep windows in place in kit built plastic coaches. It remains water soluble but dries nearly clear. The bond is not particularly strong at plastic joints, so you need to be careful when handling. WilliamDavid
The joy of PVA is a mistake can be easily rectified, and if you catch a vunerable part, it will not break at the joint, but pull off. The glue then can then be easily removed.I prefer Krystal Kleer or Humbrol ClearFix.Note. I need to buy some more.
2e0dtoeric
I don't bother, they'll only get knocked off, or fall off, and are bound to end up where you can't reach them!
