Augustus Caesar
Dazzler... great spot. Please try not to use words like the ones beginning t and p just in case it causes offence as we have members of all ages on the forum. Don't be offended yourself at my request though... it's a forum policy. 😉

2e0dtoeric
Do NOT reply to scam posts.Merely use the 'report to moderator' button, and tell them it is a spam post. That way, that posting address will be quickly blocked from access.
Chrissaf
Just be aware as Adam did mention in his 'Community Moderator' sticky, that using the 'Report' button only sends the 'Report' to Adam. The 'Community Moderators' do not and can not see these user generated 'Reports'. Adam can only action the 'Report' if he is on duty i.e normal working hours. Thus, for quick action to remove 'Spam' posts, the 'Community Moderators' have to see them for ourselves or respond to your (our forum users) posts bringing them to forum attention. RDS
@2e0dtoericYou are correct to advise not to reply to the actual SPAM post, but it was great help from Dazzler to raise his SPAM ALERT thread, because this can be seen and acted upon by Moderators. The SPAM ALERT thread will then be deleted. The 'report' button sends a report to Forum Admin but is not seen by the Moderators and therefore may take longer to action if outside office hours.
