I have a suggestion for a future edition- How does Scalextric decide on which cars to model? Is there market research? We've seen lots about how you start the modelling process by visiting the original full sized cars, but who is it that decides you're going to make a McLaren 720 instead of an Aston Martin Vulcan, or a Porsche 918? Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 If I find the link I will post it but if you search on Adrian Norman uk slot festival 2015 you will find a 40 minute video where he discusses this very thing base on the exampel of the McLaren P1 (I think).He talks about the process and the cost and it is a real eye opener!There was also a slot mag article about a year ago that I might be able to find ...
